NOUVEAU

is a blistering post punk band from Chicago made up of Zach Elias (guitar / vocals), Michael Dunne (drums), and Ryan Daly (bass). Nouveau's music is technically sophisticated but effortless in its attempts to obfuscate the constraints of guitar based music in genre, melody, and rhythm and, in so doing, one gets the sense that Nouveau is contributing something trailblazing to 21st century rock music. Progressive in its approach, Nouveau is nonetheless permeated by a soulful, organic fire rife with emotional insight and social context.
